Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn”

Benjamin Franklin

No one leadership style fits all situations all of the time. Following on from Siobhan Cassidy’s talk about the Cambridge University Women’s Boat Club, Claire will talk about the enduring effectiveness of a coaching style of leadership in organisations today.

A former corporate lawyer, general counsel and plc company secretary, Claire has worked at board level in media, brewing and technology; in listed companies and start-ups. Now an executive leadership coach, Claire works with leaders, high potentials and their teams, primarily in professional service firms, financial services and technology organisations. She has a particular interest in helping high achievers perform with greater ease and developing their presence, impact and influence. Claire helps her clients increase their resilience, confidence and self-awareness and challenge their limiting beliefs such as perfectionism, fear of failure, worrying and impostor syndrome. Her work includes increasing leadership skills, leadership progression and transition.

Claire is an accredited member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) accredited coach and an Assessor for the EMCC International Mentoring and Coaching Programmes Award.
