Speaker: Mike Higgins
Mike completed a BSc (Hons) in Paediatric nursing in 2000. In his time both pre and post qualification he worked in mental health units, Little Havens Children’s Hospice in Essex, A & E and general paediatric units. His early post qualification years were spent on a level 3 NICU before moving on to completing a post graduate qualification in Community Health Care and qualifying as a Health Visitor. Eventually moving with his family to Norfolk he spent the next 15 years working in areas of significant deprivation, supporting vulnerable families and those with significant safeguarding concerns. More recently he moved into health care management before joining EACH in 2017 as Service Manager.
