Enjoy the opportunity to network over pre-dinner drinks, followed by lunch and a talk entitled “Bright New World” by Cindy Forde, Author, Founder of Planetari.
Cindy is founder of Planetari, an education platform aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals that equips children be the innovators of a better world. Formerly MD of the Blue Marine Foundation, where she helped form the Great British Oceans Coalition, persuading the UK government to establish the largest marine protected areas in the world, and CEO of Cambridge Science Centre, she has an MSc in Sustainability and Business Practice and is an award winning creative. Her children’s book ‘Bright New World’ will be published by Welbeck in August 2022.
Cindy will talk about her forthcoming children’s book, ‘Bright New World’ in the context of the climate emergency and what this means for business. What kind of leadership do we need all in sectors from manufacturing, economics, to education and governance? How can we develop the mindset of adaptation and innovation that will enable us to transform from a planet in crisis to a world with a future?

- 12:00 = Networking and Drinks in the Old Kitchens [access via Porters Lodge]
- 13:00 = Lunch in the Old Hall – Example Menu
- 15:30 = Relocate to the tables reserved at The Eagle for more Networking

CAR PARKING : The closest is The Grand Arcade Car Park which is a 5 min walk to Queen’s College Porters Lodge. Some members prefer Queen Anne Terrace Car Park which is a 15 min walk to the Porters Lodge as driving to the Grand Arcade can take much more time than the 10 min difference between the walks – and it is significantly cheaper!
